87% of stations have extra-large lockers. For anything bigger than that, there’s still an option.
As of September 2026 — Busan Transportation Corporation’s locker data is from the May 31, 2026 release.

Most hotels will hold your bags before check-in or after checkout. But this guide is still useful more often than you’d think.
Here’s where to go in each case.
We pulled the actual dataset Busan Transportation Corporation publishes (“Locker Information,” released May 31, 2026, via Korea’s open data portal) and checked it ourselves. 62 of 71 stations (87%) have “extra-large” lockers.
Here’s where they are at the stations tourists actually use.
Price (per that dataset — small/medium/large rates vary slightly by line since each has a different operator, but extra-large is the same everywhere): ₩6,000 per 3 hours
All 6 Line 4 stations (Dongnae, Suan, Chungnyeolsa, Yeongsandae, Witbansong, Anpyeong) have none, and neither do Namsanjeong, Sukdeung, or Daejeo on Line 3. If you need to store a large bag near those, you’ll need one of the options below.
This is public data updated annually, so the counts and prices could change over time.
This data is straight from “Busan Transportation Corporation – Locker Information,” dated May 31, 2026 (via Korea’s open data portal, data.go.kr), which we downloaded and checked ourselves. It includes counts by size, prices, and the operator per station — but the exact centimeter dimensions of a locker aren’t in the data. Real user reviews suggest large suitcases do fit, but there’s no official spec to confirm it.
Busan Station’s lockers are often already full during peak times. Give yourself a buffer, or keep the alternatives below in mind.
The moment you land at the airport or step off at Busan Station, you don’t have to carry heavy bags around — you can start sightseeing right away. Drop your luggage off and it gets delivered to your hotel the same day, and the delivery fee already includes storage, so there’s no separate storage cost to worry about.
Same goes for your last day — check out, spend the day free of your bags, and just pick them up at the airport or station before you leave.
It’s a proven service on KKday, with over 2,000 bookings and a 4.9 (Excellent) rating.
This moves your luggage from the station or airport to your hotel (or back) the same day. It’s priced by the number of bags, not their size — there’s just a size cap (length + width + height totaling 180cm or less, weight 30kg or less), so there’s no size-tiered price table here; you’ll see the actual price on the booking page.
Note: This only works with hotels that have a front desk. Small motels and some guesthouses may not be eligible — before booking, it’s worth checking ZimCarry’s official list of registered accommodations to see if yours is on it.
You go to the store at the station or airport and drop your bag off in person. Gimhae Airport has separate ZimCarry counters in the domestic and international terminals — head to whichever matches your flight.
It’s first-come, first-served, so space can run out. Don’t count on it alone — it’s safer to keep the paid options above in mind too. Still, if you’re spending the day around Gwangalli, this is worth trying first.
